for the January 2013 Musical

Interested Applicants for either position must submit all of the following:

• Cover Letter
• Resume
• Availability from February 29^th to March 12^th for interviews

All of the materials listed above must be submitted in hardcopy to the Queen’s Musical Theatre mailbox located in the AMS offices and must also be emailed to queensmusicaltheatre@gmail.com

Applications are due by Monday March 5^th at 4:00PM

Applicants for Director will be asked to pitch one of the following shows during their interview:

• Guys and Dolls
• Jesus Christ Superstar
• South Pacific

NOTE: If chosen, the Director and Producer will be expected to pitch 3 to 5 shows by March 17^th

There have been unforeseen circumstances in the election process. Radissen Ramoutar, Kevin Tanner, and Dylan On have unfortunately resigned from their positions. I have attached a letter from Radissen Ramoutar, Kevin Tanner, and Dylan On explaining their resignation. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me. Please note that Sarah Bannister will remain on the board as VP Operations.

The process for electing a new President, VP Treasurer, and VP Secretary is be as following:

Nominations will be open from Thursday Feb 16, 2012 at 9:00AM to Tuesday Feb, 28, 2012 at 4:00PM.
Anyone wishing to be nominated needs to send an email to queensmusicaltheatre@gmail.com with your name, the position you wish to be nominated for and one reference with contact information. Please note that your reference will be contacted. Both yourself and your reference must be a QMT member by March 3 at 10:30am. Elections will take place at a special GM on Saturday March 3 from 10:30AM – 12:30PM in a location TBA. Constitutionally, QMT needs one third of our club members present to hold any voting so even if you are not a nominee or a reference you are still required to be present. This meeting will be significantly shorter than other AGMs due to the fact that we will only be voting.

Until the proper transition process can occur, Kyle Beres will remain as president, Keely Gilroy will be remain as VP Secretary and Andrew Fraser will remain as VP Treasurer under the new board structure that was voted in at the previous AGM. QMT will continue to operate under our yearly schedule for hiring our next director, producer and, production team regardless of Board Memeber status.
