We are currently looking to hire the following positions to join our team for Assassins:

Production Manager
Technical Director
Stage Manager
Music Director
Vocal Director*
Set Designer
Lighting Designer
Costume Designer
Head of Publicity
Head of Sponsorship

*VOCAL DIRECTOR APPLICANTS
A copy of the sheet music of “The Gun Song” will be emailed to you after receiving your application. At your interview you must teach bars 123-139 of the piece to the interview panel.

Please submit your cover letter, resume, and availability from April 3rd-6th to queensmusicaltheatre@gmail.com AND a physical copy to the QMT Mailbox in the AMS Office (in the lower level of the John Deutsch University Centre).

The deadline for applications is Wednesday, April 3rd at 4pm.
Interviews will take place from April 3rd-6th.

Queen’s Musical Theatre presents: Reefer Madness67082_10152623797935076_283791540_n
A musical parody of the 1936 propaganda film “Tell Your Children”, Reefer Madness chronicles melodramatically catastrophic events resulting from teenagers indulging in the destructive, yet seductive, effects of marihuana. As told to the audience by The Lecturer, we follow the story of young Jimmy Harper falling victim to this menace, later to redeem himself by telling the world the “truth”.

In a culture so often exploited under threats of uncertainty, Director Joey Graff has chosen to explore the horrifying but hilarious world of political lobbying and propaganda, achieving a vibrant approach to Kevin Murphy and Dan Studney’s writing, and shedding new light on the characters of a cult classic. After QMT’s resounding success with Sweeney Todd in December 2012, Reefer Madness will continue to uphold the company’s renowned performance value and professionalism, and seeks to astound and amuse the Queen’s University and Kingston communities.
